Part of the 2018 Best Buy Back-to-school campaign, designed to highlight various products that would fit into various situations of the college experience.
Up until 2018 "Expert Service. Unbeatable Price.", was Best Buy's main tagline. The page accompanying the tagline was created to display the breadth of services that Best Buy had to offer its customers. With all the vast number of services Best Buy offers of course there was a need to spend time organizing them in a logical manner.

The page accompanying the tagline was created to display the breadth of services that Best Buy had to offer its customers. With all the vast number of services Best Buy offers of course there was a need to spend time organizing them in a logical manner.
The main request of the page was to try to bring review content into the page. However, a single review could be more heavily biased than having multiple. However, too many review details would clutter the page layout and make it extremely long. For this reason, we opted to pull snippets from 2 reviews onto the page itself. The full review and details would be pulled into a modal.
During the project I felt it was important to be as transparent as possible, even if we simply provided user reviews they can still be used to provide a biased voice that other users would not trust. I encouraged the business to pick reviews with a variety of star ratings and opinions. I also added things like a link to all reviews for that product. That way the customer could more easily reach a varied opinion.
